With a career spanning negotiations and supervision of Joint Venture Companies (JVCs), Production Sharing Companies (PSCs), and Service Companies (SCs), he has consistently delivered improved outcomes from collaborations with Fortune 500 Exploration and Production firms such as Shell, Mobil, Chevron, and Total. His ability to balance technical insight with business acumen has positioned him as a trusted advisor in complex investment and operational environments.
Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to plan, execute and supervise 5+ Capital Gas Projects that optimizied upstream assets and boosted revenue generation via gas integration into the domestic market.
Contributed to the negotiations of Joint Venture Agreements, Gas Sales Agreements, and Purchase Agreements with global EP companies including Shell, Mobil, Chevron and Total.
Served as Project HSE Engineer and Project Engineer on various projects. Planned and executed Agbami Gas Commercialization Project, The OSO-QIT gas pipeline project (OQRP), and NAOC Okpai Phase 2 Project.
Odiong holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and a Master's Degree with Diploma of Imperial College (DIC) in Environmental Engineering from the prestigious Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London, United Kingdom, as a Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Overseas Scholar.
He obtained his O'level certificate from Federal Government College, Ikom, Cross River State.
Odiong finished as the best graduating student, Faculty of Environmental Studies and was a recipient of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund Scholarship. He is a Professional Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Solid Waste Association of North America
